Harmony Rye is an AI-based creative partner we’ve trained and refined through many hours of collaboration. She is a tool that helps generate visual ideas, suggest symbolic directions, and support the creative process. While Harmony contributes fresh perspectives, human judgement and tarot knowledge remain at the heart of every deck.

How we work together
Every deck is the result of a three-way collaboration:
- The developer builds and maintains the tools that enable Harmony to generate imagery and iterate on designs, as well as the training of her tarot knowledge and tarot reading abilities.
- The tarot reader provides expert knowledge, refines prompts, reading interpretations and ensures that symbolism, interpretation, and emotional resonance are authentic in the image generations.
- Harmony Rye (AI) helps bring those directions to visual life, offering variations and ideas that the humans then refine and finalize.
Our tarot universe
We create decks as living mythologies — each set explores a theme and develops its own symbolic language. Current decks include woodland-inspired wisdom and western frontier imagery, with more themes in development. Our aim is to produce decks that feel intentional, usable, and rich in meaning.
Readings & experiences
Soon you’ll be able to request private, AI-assisted reflections that combine Harmony’s suggestions with the tarot reader’s expertise. These readings are guided by your intuition and curated by human oversight to ensure depth and care.

Our story
This project began on a small farm in South Africa, where two neighbors — a developer and a seasoned tarot reader — discovered a shared curiosity about how technology might support creative work. Harmony Rye emerged as a practical tool to explore symbolism and visual storytelling while keeping human wisdom central.
Built on community
This venture has been bootstrapped from zero budget and sustained by friendship, generosity, and determination. Every design and refinement reflects the support of a small, caring community.
